Ok, we keep hearing "Wayne Rooney is in the top 3 in the world", which on current form I wouldn't disagree, but what I've never heard is that Cesc is, At the age of 22 Fabregas is one of the best midfielders in world football, with 17 goals and 19 assists to his name this season, and surely more to come from now until the end of the season, Shouldn't he be considered one of the best in the world?
Yes, Rooney has been more consistent in the goal scoring department, but so he should as he is a forward. Rooney currently with 33 goals to his name this season has kept Manchester United in the title race, as they sit first 1 point ahead of Chelsea and 2 of Arsenal, but what would happen if you took Rooney out of the United team? They certianly wouldn't be top of the table, as fellow strike partner Dimitar Berbatov has struggled to find the back of the net this season.
Fabregas, who has been involved in 36 of the 73 goals scored by Arsenal, isn't as much missed when hes been out of action this season, as seen when we played Porto at home, and beat them comprehensively 5-0 (6-2 agg). The Arsenal captain seems not to get the amount of praise from the footballing world as the likes of Wayne Rooney gets, is this because Rooney has single handly kept United in the title race, and that Cesc hasn't had do to the same?
I somewhat believe we have the best midfielder in world football (on current form), the likes of Xavi and Iniesta get all the praise, but the fact is, whenever Fabregas plays for Spain or Arsenal, hes far more consistent than both averging a goal or an assist a game.
Is it about time our Captain got the praise he deserves and is considered one of the best in the world?

Its jus typical british media, brown nose the most inform english player, espacially when you consider theres a world cup aswell, the british tabloids make me cringe, why did my parents ever migrate to the country *SIGH*
